Educational Board Game

We love food! We love tapau!

Sometimes, we also say "bungkus" or "takeaway".

Jom Tapau brings players on a food-tapau journey while practising "bring our own containers".

Food brings us nourishment and joy. However, our way to tapau them has not been nourishing and joyous for the Mother Earth, with single-use plastic waste generated by Malaysians each day.

The board game aims to raise awareness about our addiction to single-use food packaging, and to practice environmental-friendly way of tapau. Through the gameplay, it should also encourage players to think-out-of-the-box ​to suggest how to tapau in a more environmental-friendly way.

The board game is currently still at its play-test stage. However, we have not been able to organise a public play-test session due to the Covid-19 situation.

Talk to us to co-organise a small-group Jom Tapau play-test session with your family/friends to help us generating more ideas to better it!
